goodbye blog world...i don't know how much is going to be going on here for quite some time.

i have spent the past couple days packing away my life as i leave for college tomorrow.

birthday present

filip's little sister just had a birthday so i shipped this little quilted card to her with a dora the explorer doll. i just whipped it together the other day...it had been so long since i had used my sewing machine.

also, amy butler fabrics make me swoon. love them!

filip left last wednesday. that was a rough day, but we've been talking and staying in touch so all is well....AND guess who is going to croatia for two weeks in december?! yes...yours truly. and for the sake of miss kara can i get a yaypants?!!!!!!!

i have been busy getting ALL of my stuff for college. i leave on the 22nd. i'm getting kinda nervous now actually. my roommate is canadian so that's cool and i will be the only american on the tennis team of 8 girls. FUN FUN! you can see the roster here.

i've been lazy lately on the art front. i took kara's summer of love online class and loved it, but still need to complete over half of the prompts! i plan on getting most of that done before i go off to school.
