it was my first day back in high school..my jounior year. hmmm let me see... I have an AP English test tomorrow, syllabuses (sylubi?) up the wazoo, summer gossip is raging (who went out with who, who broke up with who, who made out with who, who threw a mad party, etc, etc), and I can't get the school fight song out of my head after tonight's school corn boil function. Right now I am just greatful I was not voted corn boil queen so I didn't have to participate in the corn eating contest.
(deep breath)...I will start this year with an open mind, no complaints.

Oh, my junior year was the best year of my pre-college life. Hard classes, friend drama and all...
And then comes your senior year and it all seems like it happened too fast.
A corn boil sounds dangerous.
